Issue
PowerLink 3.00 solutions that are using some functions may return an error if the Macro Security is set to high. For example the function Dir()
.
Cause
This happens at sites that have run or previously run Microsoft Access 2003 and set the Macro Security to High or Medium.
Work-Around
Sites running Microsoft Access 2003 and PowerLink 3.00 need to set the Macro Security to Low in order that the DIR() and other commands can be run in Solution Builder Script.
This can be done by opening Microsoft Access 2003 | Tools | Macro | Security
and setting the Security Level
to Low
If Microsoft Access 2003 has been uninstalled then you may need to change the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines\SandBoxMode
Value to
2
Resolution
This issue will be resolved in a future version of the software.
