Getting Started
The Jobs Manager app is for anyone who needs to manage jobs which have been assigned in PowerLink.
Features include:
· All the features of the My Jobs app plus…
· Filter jobs by employee or display all jobs for all employees
· Search for any job
PowerLink Options
To be able to use all the features of this app you need to have a sales rep and employee code allocated to your Attaché User Name in the PowerLink Dashboard Options.
The app will use the settings in the PowerLink Job Costing Options where applicable.
Application Settings
Other app specific settings are available under the More – Application Settings menu.
Virtual Employees
Virtual employees can be used to help manage your jobs and projects. When a job reaches a stage where it cannot be assigned to a specific person you can assign it to a virtual employee in PowerLink Maintain Employee program (Masterfiles – Payroll).
A real person can be assigned to this role. You can simply change the email address to assign a new person to this role.
Email Notifications
When a job is assigned to another person, that person can be notified via email. This option can be enabled via the PowerLink Job Costing options.
Only users with a valid email address will be notified. You can check email addresses via the PowerLink Maintain Employee program (Masterfiles – Payroll).
