PowerLink posts transactions to Attaché using Keystroke File Import (KFI). PowerLink creates a KFI file in a format which is compatible to the Attaché transaction entry screens. The PowerLink KFI formats must match the Attaché screen layouts or KFI errors will occur, so you should involve your PowerLink consultant when making changes to screens.
To set-up and enable Attaché KFI:
Enable the User Selected Transaction Screens for Invoicing and Purchasing. This allows PowerLink to select and use its own compatible Attaché screens. You can enable these options in the Attaché Setups | Customers | Options | Invoicing Options and Setups | Suppliers | Options | Purchasing Options programs.
Check that the default PowerLink Attaché screen layouts are selected for Invoices (INVO_POW.SPF), Customer Orders (ORDE_POW.SPF) and Supplier Purchase Orders (ORDE_POW.SPF). You can select these defaults in the PowerLink Setups | System | Setup Customer Order KFI Layout, Setups | System | Setup Customer Invoice KFI Layout and Setups | System | Setup Supplier Purchase Order KFI Layout..
Set the “Enable Unattended KFI” in the PowerLink Setups | System | Data Access Options.
